MECCANO EXHIBITION AT BRITISH MOTOR MUSEUM AT GAYDON - JULY 18 & 19

The MMG held its 12th annual exhibition of Meccano models as part of this summer event at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. This year's event was very successful and every year we seem to attract more visitors than the previous one. The event was well attended by classic car enthusiasts and Meccano models with an automotive theme were especially popular with visitors.

The main event outdoors allowed you to see a whole range of pre-1995 Ford vehicles including Anglias, Capris, Cortinas, Escorts, Fiestas, Granadas, Model Ts, Zephyrs and Zodiacs and 32’ Deuces.

This event is not just for MMG members and a welcome is extended to members of other UK Meccano clubs/societies to exhibit their models. We hope to see you there again next year!

FORTHCOMING MMG EXHIBITIONS IN 2026

MIDLANDS MODEL ENGINEERING EXHIBITION AT LEAMINGTON SPA - OCTOBER 15-18

As in previous years, the MMG will be in attendance throughout the 4 days of this excellent model engineering event. We will have a fine display of Meccano models alongside the many other model engineering stands.

At the Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition in 2016 the MMG stand featured a selection of Gregg Worwood's Meccano railway models, which was awarded the Challenge Shield for the Best Club Stand at that year's show.
