WELCOME TO THE MIDLANDS MECCANO GUILD
Formed in 1967 the Midlands Meccano Guild was one of the first Meccano clubs formed in the UK aimed at an adult membership.
Members have a wide range of interests in Meccano modelling and collecting. We meet twice a year in March and October near Coventry in the Heart of England. The club welcomes enthusiasts from a wide area, including a number of overseas members.

FORTHCOMING MMG EVENTS IN 2026
STATFOLD COUNTRY PARK - MODELS & MODEL ENGINEERING SHOW - MAY 09 & 10
Following a very successful event last year the MMG has been invited back by Statfold Country Park (near Tamworth) to hold another exhibition of Meccano models, both large and small, alongside many other model engineering displays.
Entry is free ONLY to MMG model exhibitors, however you can attend the event by booking a ticket at https://statfold.com/models-engineering-show/
BRITISH MOTOR MUSEUM AT GAYDON - CLASSIC FORD CAR RALLY - JULY 18 & 19
The MMG is pleased to be holding its 12th annual exhibition of Meccano models as part of this summer event at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. Last year's event was very successful and every year we seem to attract more visitors than the previous one. The event is well attended by classic car enthusiasts so Meccano models with an automotive theme are especially popular with visitors.
The main event outdoors allows you to see a whole range of pre-1995 Ford vehicles including Anglias, Capris, Cortinas, Escorts, Fiestas, Granadas, Model Ts, Zephyrs and Zodiacs and 32’ Deuces.
MIDLANDS MODEL ENGINEERING EXHIBITION - LEAMINGTON SPA - OCTOBER 15-18
As in previous years, the MMG will be in attendance throughout the 4 days of this excellent model engineering event. We will have a fine display of Meccano models alongside the many other model engineering stands.
NOTES FROM THE WEBMASTER
The main web pages are accessed from a menu of lozenges at the top of the Home Page.
The GALLERY web page provides links to photo galleries of our recent meetings on the Flickr website. Previously the GALLERY also had links to photo reports of our past meetings and exhibitions on the NZMeccano website but there have been technical problems accessing these since March 2025 and we have no idea when they may be back online.
A MEMBERS web page shows a selection of members' models with links to their user galleries. It also contains past MMG Bulletins/Gazettes which are available as PDF files to download and read on your own computer.
The PUBLICATIONS page provides information about our publications.
Whenever you click on a link this opens a new tab in your web browser, leaving the referring webpage open in a separate tab. To get back to the original webpage just click on its tab, or close the new tab.
